Amphenol RF has expanded its MCX cable assembly line with straight and right-angle plug configurations mated to IP67 bulkhead SMA, TNC, RP-TNC and N-Type straight jacks on RG-178 coaxial cable, supporting RF performance to 6 GHz in short-distance applications. The between-series assemblies are intended for wireless modules with board-level MCX connectors and panel-mounted threaded interfaces in portable devices, GPS, Wi‑Fi and vehicle systems, with sealed external connectors to resist temporary fluid ingress and standard lengths from 3 to 48 in. to simplify routing to external antennas.
