1. Kraken SAS Technology Strengthens Interoperability at REPMUS 2025

At the annual Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping with Maritime Unmanned Systems (REPMUS) exercise in Portugal, a record number of participants used Kraken Robotics’ Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS) technology.

Seven international naval teams and three Uncrewed Underwater Vehicle (UUV) manufacturers employed Kraken’s SAS technology for a range of maritime security applications, including mine countermeasure operations and critical underwater infrastructure inspections. Their participation demonstrated effective interoperability across platforms, nations, and mission objectives in the underwater domain.

2. UAVOS S1-V300 Long Endurance UAS Achieves Operational Performance & Efficiency

UAVOS‘ S1-V300 Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) has successfully demonstrated significant endurance and fuel efficiency during a recent test flight.

The 1,000-kilogram S1-V300 flew continuously for 16 hours at a cruising speed of 130 km/h, covering a total distance of 2,400 kilometers while consuming only 10 liters of fuel per hour. Equipped with fuel tanks totaling 500 liters, the aircraft is capable of operating non-stop for more than 40 hours with a payload of 30 to 40 kilograms.

3. PDW Receives First U.S. Air Force Contract for C100 Multi-Mission UAS

Performance Drone Works (PDW) has secured its first contract award with the U.S. Air Force for its C100 multi-mission Unmanned Aerial System (UAS).

The contract was awarded by the 93rd Air Ground Operations Wing (AGOW), which is headquartered at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia. The 93rd AGOW commands four subordinate units and supports diverse Air Force missions across various operational domains. This award represents a major milestone in PDW’s expansion within the U.S. Department of Defense.

4. Schiebel VTOL UAV Demonstrates Advanced Maritime Capabilities at NATO REPMUS 2025

Schiebel‘s CAMCOPTER S-100 Vertical Take-Off and Landing Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (VTOL UAV) demonstrated its operational versatility during NATO’s annual Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping using Maritime Uncrewed Systems (REPMUS) exercise, hosted by the Portuguese Navy.

The VTOL UAV flew multiple missions carrying advanced sensors, communication links, and AI-assisted data fusion modules, underscoring its role as a multi-mission asset designed for integration into naval combat systems within complex maritime environments.

5. Evolito Selected for Electric Propulsion Units on Ultra Short Hybrid-Electric Aircraft

Electra.aero has chosen Evolito to supply the Electric Propulsion Units (EPUs) for its EL9 Ultra Short hybrid-electric aircraft. The EL9 is designed to achieve takeoff and landing in just 150 feet (45 meters) by utilizing patented blown-lift technology and distributed electric propulsion.

Evolito, a developer of electric engines and integrated electric propulsion systems for aerospace, will provide Electra with high-performance EPUs that include lightweight motors, high-integrity motor controllers, and advanced thermal controls.
